my friday night.

Friday

i scored a 99/100 on the second 326 midterm.
the average was 73/100.
i did awesome. i felt like i was just going to get an average score.

and the overall score i got for the whole course is 97%
and it also says the maximum of the whole class is 97%
hahaha i'm now at the top of the class :D
this is ridiculous!

On our third day we went skiing! it was my first time skiing! i had so much fun!

oh man i'm feeling super tired and somehow unmotivated...
just finished making PDMS and PLGA solution.
gonna sit down and organize and study a bit.
will be leaving in one hour after PLGA are fully dissolved.

326 midterm on Friday.
326 HW on Wednesday.
325 HW on Friday.
gonna be busy. but i'm almost done with the homework though thanks myself from the past.

the grade for 325 midterm was out. i got 72/100 the average is 54/100.

i'll be uploading freaknight photos and gifs soon. done with video editing during my portland trip. haha

oh my Portland trip was great! finally got time to do whatever i want.
skiing was super fun but super difficult. like i kept falling and stuff.

Right after I turned in my 326 HW I had a sudden feel of... Emptiness...

It's like what should i do now?
What now!?
Changing from a must-finish-this reading-and-then-that homework lifestyle to this sudden nothing-to-do-ness really sucks. It's actually stressful in many ways.

Oh well I'm gonna start packing now.
Gonna take the train to Portland tomorrow. At least I'm not going to be staying in my room the whole thanksgiving and being miserable.
I guess that's why people travel.
Keeping oneself busy, even though you're off from work.

And I'll finally be pickings camera up! I miss my Nikon so so much!!

my 325 midterm didn't go so well. 

like i had enough time but i don't know how to do some of the questions.

but oh well... we'll see how it went when the score is out. i'm being too subjective right now.

and yeh gonna go for a haircut and grocery shopping now.

i guess i'm way ahead of schedule right now. so don't really have to worry about any of the shit.

but i'll probably have to do some lab work.

ready for Thanksgiving... well kind of...

no lab today. so i only had one class today which is at 1:30 pm
studied a lot last night and got so many stuffs done which is awesome.
i have one class canceled tomorrow so i'll be done after the midterm and handing in homework.

and today went pretty well i guess.
went to lab meeting and honor society meeting today.
also met my ex-roommate on the ave today.
they're having dinner tonight. a little surprised that none of them told me about it but he asked me if i want to join. and i told him i have a midterm tomorrow so yeh.
i guess i better not go cuz it'll probably be awkward and stuff.

anyway. gonna be productive till i'm officially off for Thanksgiving.

it's like so dark now and it's only 4pm...
it's raining like shit outside. it's so gusty too!

Sunday

Went to office hours and review session for the upcoming midterm which is on Wednesday.
I guess I'm getting used to busy life now.
Have to be productive through the end of the quarter, since I have lab works to do as well.

Getting dinner now will be back home later and continue studying.

I'm glad I'm ahead of schedule now.

Friday

Long but fulfilling day.
After my classes
Went to my lab and had a super long meeting.
Getting involved with one of the project my mentor will be working on.
And I know I'm going to be even more busy next week.
Have a midterm next Wednesday.
A homework due on next Wednesday.

Then walked all the way from my lab to Frances's place. 20 minutes walk wasn't too bad.
She made me dinner which was awesome! Then we went to watch a musical. Wicked.
It's so awesome!!!!

It's a long but fulfilling day. :D

should wait a little longer next time

so yeh i was just being a bitch.
my roommates cleaned up stuff this afternoon and evening
and my teammates worked with me on the lab report tonight and we just finished it.
it's like freaking 24 pages or something like that.
love working on stuff on google doc!! so much fun!

anyway, still super busy. went to lab today and helped Winnie, a new lab member with checking off chemicals. had some conversations with her and also laughed about stuff we're doing.
felt great!

have to keep my work up since i'll be out of town during thanksgiving that means i have no extra time to do stuff before final.

stomach still feeling weird.
maybe it's stress induced? just happened all of a sudden since last night.

faith in humanity lost

there're so many things happening recently.
first off, i had a stomachache last night. felt like throwing up. woke up several times last night.
wtf stomach.

and our apartment inspection is coming up.
i cleaned up so many stuff
but a few of my roommates just aren't going to clean stuff up.
geez, toilets won't clean themselves.

and i had a lab report due tonight and i've set up a google doc and have started the lab report but none of my teammates replied yet.

seriously. FML.

sorry guys haven't been updating.

so yeh the previous post says it all.
i spent most of my 3-days weekend studying.
i was actually being super productive and finished so much reading and homework aside from hanging out with a few friends on saturday afternoon and meeting up with a video production group from the photo club noon of monday.
yeh and i seriously can't wait to turn 21
gonna have so much fun with friends going to bars and clubs!!
and i will finally be able to go to RSVP-only events.

3-days weekend so far

just got registered.
and i got all my classes.
without any internet breakdown or full classes.
is it supposed to be this easy?

depression attack

so last night i was completely lost and felt all unmotivated.
i felt like i couldn't do it anymore.
and i thought going to bed would help.
so i woke up today noon and felt... the same.
i seriously don't want to do anything.

forced myself out of bed, took a shower, had brunch, dressed up and packed up.
went to get the key for project for my photo club meeting.
then went straight to Foege and started working on my homework.
seeing my classmate kind of motivated me and hearing them complaining about the homework motivated me even more. i'm not alone! the homework sucks and it's stupid.
anyway, i'm done with the homework now and going to start another assignment.

also i'm registering tomorrow morning.
gotta get all my classes!

i'm feeling normal again ;)

i know this depression attack won't be the last time but at least i went through it.

All these works are really getting on my nerve

My mind blanked out while I was working on my 325 homework due Friday.
I was like wait what...?
Not productive tonight.
Couldn't concentrate.
Maybe I'm stressed out already?

Since the start of this week, I've done the homework for 326 on Sunday and Monday. Worked on an essay for 222 on Sunday. Worked on a super long lab report (like 15 pages or something) on Monday and Tuesday. Working on 325 HW now and must finish it tomorrow. I also have to write a paragraph for 222 research paper.
And of course I still have a bunch of reading to do.

.The urge of gathering all my papers and throw them in the air while yelling "Fuck it!" is getting stronger than ever before.

volunteered at the Youth Vote Coalition

i just faced one of my biggest fears: talking someone on phone
i received a text form one of the people asking me to volunteer this afternoon.
i decided to helped them out a bit.

went to HUB tonight
i'm supposed to call people that are registered with the thing
and remind them to vote since tomorrow will be the last day to vote.
most of them didn't pick up their phone
some had already voted and were nice to me.
and a few were annoyed by the phone call.

anyway, it's great to take another perspective during the election.
it's my first time doing this and it's fun but scary at the same time.
since you dunno whether you'll get hung up or something.

been pretty occupied.
went grocery shopping and did laundry today
now i'm studying. :/

FreakNight 2012

sorry guys it's taking such a long time... as promised this is the post about Freaknight and i'd also like to talk about Molly

LOVE the blasting sounds! It's took me like 2 full days for my ear recovering from the music haha!

I danced so hard and my legs were sore for like 2 days.
also caught a cold like 2 days after Freaknight. but it's all worth it!! ;)

here are some photos i took with iPhone; i'll upload a video and more photos in the future when i'm free from all the reading and homework.

first I'd like to talk about a few disappointments:

1. the line was WAY too long. could you guys get more people for security check. it's stupid to wait for like more than half an hour outside.

2. rough decoration. the decoration wasn't as delicate as i thought it would be. if i remebered correctly, beyond wonderland two years ago looked a lot better.
3. the end was a bummer. Armin got into some technical difficulties so the music was forced to stop for like a few minutes.

but most importantly, I'd like to talk about some awesome stuff:

the rides and games were great even though i didn't take any of the rides. it's like a dream land!

and of course the music was awesome!
I saw Morgan Page, Bingo Players, Dada life, Laidback Luke, and more. Didn't saw Nicky Romero :( cuz he's performing at the same time with Dada...

when i was waiting in line, i saw an ID card on the floor

later i found out it belonged to a guy in front of me.

he thanked me ;) yup! it would be sad if you couldn't get in after such a long wait in line.

also there's this guy popping out from nowhere asking people

and i just replied nah.
i wasn't aware what Molly really mean by that time.
the first thing popping out of my mind was "Molly" by Cedric Gervais.
i'm going to put the music video here again.

anyway, i had such a great night!

after i was home i decided to do some research relating to drugs.
i immediately typed in Molly
and not surprisingly, Molly is just another name for MDMA. it's not really ecstasy. but it's a major component of ecstasy.
i also found out that people on Molly usually have a fever like body temperature and they usually chew gum to prevent damage from jaw clenching.
interesting...

but i always party sober
the music alone can make me super excited.
so yeh. I'm not a drug party people. ;)

just hung out with a friend from Mercer hall

she was living on the same floor with me two years ago in Mercer.

we had dinner and watched 2 movies together.

caught on with each other's life a bit.

such a cute film. the vampire totally reminded me of Marceline from the Adventure time haha

and watched End of Watch

it's an awesome movie. i really like all the actions from the perspective of a cop. but i got a headache after watching it cuz it's just so shaky!

just finished my paper for biofuture class

going to start lab report now.

i got productive at the end

and finished up one reading for my biofuture class.
and i'm now back home.
gotta do more reading cuz i'm not tired anymore.

Friday afternoon

right after class, i returned the key for the projector for photo club meeting yesterday.
and also returned my ballot. :D

then i went back home and got all my stuff and decided to get super productive at the library.
so i have been at the library since 1 pm? and now it's 3 pm and i've not started any reading or assignment yet....
i was like reddittig the whole time LOL
doesn't feel like doing anything after a whole week of work... but i have to... i'm behind the schedule.
i'll probably go back now and take a nap cuz i'm actually pretty tired.
