just so you know.
i'm already done with all the homework that is due this week.
so i'm pretty much free every night this week.
but it will be a good idea to keep studying throughout this week so i won't crowd all my works into the last week of class which would be a disaster.

mse 170 midterm grade is out

i got 119 out of 120
class average was 86.43
and the max score is 119.
i did it again!! Fuck yeah! i'm the highest scorer!

tuesday and now wednesday

so i took a quiz i studied for a tiny bit. and of course i had no idea what the quiz was about. i think i failed it but whatever, so did my classmates. haha

met up with my friends last night at a trivial night

that's tuesday.

wednesday will be another long day. have lab meeting after my classes
then gonna go to the bar tonight :D

and there's this party Thursday night i kind of want to go to. it's in Foundation night club.
a DJ who perform in the TOSA party is going to be performing in the party too.
i think i might go :D

monday

so yeh sunday night was awesome!
hit the bars with my friend and we had lots of fun. we chatted so much. love it :)

and went to the lab this afternoon to train someone for some stuff.
back home and have been writing a lab report since.

to be honest, i am running very very low on fucks now.
i am running out of fucks to give.

i mean seriously, i still have 2 lab reports (including the one i'm working on right now), 2 presentations, 2 chapters of human physiology, 2 chapters of material engineering, 2 literature reviews, 2 homework assignment, a bunch of articles, and a huge project proposal to do before the quarter ends in two weeks.
i mean i can definitely go through all of those but the thought of having to work on those in two weeks just upset me.
this is what i want to do now.

but i couldn't because that would mean i failed the quarter :/

so went grocery shopping
and just finished developing photos from the night market event last week i did for TOSA.

Got more works done!! Yay! Somewhat productive day.
Miss my friends so much!!
Just went to a bar and got a drink. And I also drank some before that so I'm a bit tipsy now haha.

friday

ahhh another exhausting week.
at least i got many works done.
i still have bunch to do.
i really really just want the quarter to end now but we still have like 2 weeks to go. :/

my friends are out of town to an event for this 4 day weekend.
so i'm not going to do much this weekend. probably a good time to get more works done so i can get ahead of schedule and enjoy my life.

i'm thinking of going to a bar and get some drinks later tonight when i have a satisfactory amount of work done since it's friday night and i want to reward myself for getting through another week.

summer please come already.

so i bought a bike!!

yeh i bought a bike on Monday.
and it is awesome! i get to places so so so much faster now!!

bought a bike of course, got my hair cut, went grocery shopping, cleaned apartment partially

anyway, i still have a bunch of stuff to do and i'm really really stressed right now. like i just don't feel like doing anything anymore. i feel like i don't want to give a fuck.
i mean seriously. until the end of the quarter, we still have like 6 chapters for MSE. and like a whole new topic for 345. and one two more topic for 457. and i have to write up the whole proposal for my capstone project.
i really don't know if i can do all of these in 3 weeks.

my wonderful weekend

hey guys sorry for the delayed update.

so my weekend have been so far so great! 

productive and had lots of fun.

and omg, i'm finally done with the most stressful week of the quarter. just gonna take it easy for the rest of the quarter

i don't mean to slack off haha i'll still do my work of course but just take more time on them.

and it's an extremely eventful weekend by the way: symposium, street fair which i didn't go cuz i'm not interested anymore, night market, and more

let's start with Friday...

so yeh as you have known that i presented my poster and work in the symposium

saturday. i studied with my friend then went to this night market event to take photos for the student organization. my friends came as well. i don't have photos for that so sorry about that.

sunday, i walked back home and saw Mercer court.

it looks hella good but it must be super super expensive to live in.

 just look at the exterior! damn!

oh and i received my pin i ordered few days ago in celebration of Hyperbole and a Half's return.
it's so cute! love it!! I have it on my bag now :)

 and i'm studying at my friend's place right now. gonna get more work done :)

they went well.
like i didn't get stuck on question or stuff.
they're just really mental energy consuming.

and i still have to make some changes to my poster even though i've already printed my poster out :/
but it's already like Wednesday. i'm so worried that it's not going to get printed on time now :(

one night of hardcore studying

i have two midterms tomorrow. one of them was supposed to be on Monday but they changed the date without announcing it. i was kind of pissed about it.

and the official presentation on Friday.

i'm pretty much ready for the supposed-to be-on-monday midterm

i'm still preparing for the other midterm. which i think is going to be awful.

cuz we have to know so many signal transduction pathway.

this is an example of how complicated it is.

and i still have to fabricate at least 8 more samples for a lab project. 

so yeh like i said a week ago, if i can make it through this week, i'm pretty much fine for the rest of the quarter. 

oh and i registered for my autumn quarter.

i hate my schedule.

the honor program 410 i am doing completely ruined my schedule.

i had only one 10:30 am class before i added 410 to my schedule.

now i have like three 9:30 classes :(

but anyway, i'm planning to buy a bike this weekend so i would be fine for autumn quarter.

biking will save a bunch of time and i will not be late to class especially to the disgusting morning classes.

I have to say that my college life just really begins.
haha I had totally been out of college life for two of my college years.

Grades and more updates

So yeh I got like a 82 or something on my 457 midterm two weeks ago. I don't know the class average.

And ummm so I'm already ready for the midterm tomorrow.
I just have to finish up my lab work before Wednesday. Print out my poster before Friday. Study for midterm in wednesday. Finish various homework before various due dates.

sorry guys i haven't been updating my blog for such a long time.

so ummm...
yeh things are turning out well i guess.
i'm prepared for the midterm on Monday.
i finished my poster for the symposium now i just have to print it somewhere.
getting assignments done on time.
replying to emails promptly.
working on fabrication for a collaboration project in my research lab.
partied with my friends on Wednesday and Saturday. we went to Capitol Hill so much fun!
anyway.
gonna keep studying now

this week and next week

if i'm able to make it through next week. i'd be fine going through the rest of the quarter.
I have two midterms and I have to present at a symposium next week (i have to design and print out a poster). and don't forget I have research at the same time.
i also have to work on an application for my summer research plan in Taiwan.

it's not warm or nice out there. it's freaking hot like an oven!
it's 29 C or something. i don't remember having a 29 C day in seattle last summer.

saturday was fine.
went to a park in Capitol hill with Frances. chilled there.
then went to a party after i got back to U District.
as usual, i just kind of sat around and did nothing. i just couldn't handle the crowd you know? i can't talk to people in large groups.
so i felt bad about myself. and yeh ended up feeling depressed.
but my friend noticed i'm upset so yeh we talked about it and now i'm feeling so much better :)

gonna study now. haha. school school school.

friday night, saturday

last night was fun.
got a bit drunk and danced with my camera while taking photos of the event.
people loved it!
i guess it's a turn on for the vibe if the photographer is dancing as well.
got some pretty satisfying photos. they look like the "professional" photos taken by professional photographer in nightclubs. i really really really love flash + a bit of long exposure so you get both the people and the atmosphere/movement. it feels energetic.

after that i met up with my friends close by and one of them let us stay at her place for the night.
her place is awesome. it's in downtown.

in the morning, my friend and i went to get breakfast from starbucks then we headed back to U district.

gonna get ready for the day and study. and meet up with another friend later then going to a birthday party of another friend.
haha i'm very vague when using the term friend. but yeh.

oh and

and my grade for MSE 170 midterm was out. i got 98/100. class average was 83 or something like that.
i guess i did well. i'll just keep my mode of study the same for that class.

and the Taiwanese student organization wanted me to be the photographer for their party Friday night.
yay! i've alway loved photographing parties! gonna have lots of fun taking photos while enjoying the music and alcohol since i'm 21 :) hopefully, the music would be awesome!

thursday

days are passing so quickly
it's already the end of week 5.

i had a full day on Wednesday.
had class, had lab meeting, went to scholarship welcome reception, and then headed to bar.
love going to bar and get drunk. well not like black out drunk but more like feeling happy and chatty! love that feeling!
today was fine.
had class and reality. yes reality. our advisor came in today to talked with us about what to do after graduation. it's daunting. i really think i need a gap year to figure out what i want to do after i graduate.

in lab right now, have to make stuff.
and i have homework to do as well.
oh and the weather outlook is great for this weekend. 28 C! damn that's hot!
