as promised this is the update :) so since April 18th... hmmm let me see what have I been doing...

super long post so bare with me.

the whole week since April 18th, I was super ultra busy.
went to the lab almost every day.
and worked on my homework.
partied on Saturday 19th till 4 am. music was really good.
then went to Easter events. went to church and had brunch with friends. not really my thing but it was overall a new experience for me.
then my best friend from high school, M, arrived Seattle on Wednesday 23rd.
went to Wells and got really drunk with M and friends.
then on Thursday 24th I showed M around Seattle and UW campus.
we went to Seattle center and Space Needle and Pike place market

then we had dinner at Canlis, the best restaurant at Seattle. I repeat the best.

then on Friday M headed to Vegas in the morning

after my classes on Friday, I barely caught my flight to Vegas because of the stupid sport game whatever it is. baseball? i don't even care. sports suck.

so yeh. fortunately i caught my flight

and i was amazed!! Vegas is so beautiful! so lively 24 hours and luxurious.

people were just holding bottles of alcohol on the street haha.

it was like a paradise.

anyway, so I got to the hotel and the hotel again amazed me.

i love it so much!!!

then we went to see DEADMAU5 at XS!!! omg! i've been dying to see him all my life! Dream came true!!!
XS is super luxurious as well. there's a pool and a stage in the middle surrounded by tables.

so we partied till 4 am
then we went back to our room and slept till like 10 am
then we had lunch at a burger place
then we gambled until 7 pm haha i played slot and blackjack
i lost so much money but i stopped midway because it's not going anywhere and i know when i should stop ;)
then we went to see Zedd at XS.
cuz we're on the guest list so we got in like first.
holy crap. i had such a good night.
i danced so much my feet hurt.
I made a Z gesture with my hands and ZEDD SAW IT and HE SMILED AND THUMBED UP AT ME!!!! I still can't believe it!!

then on Suday, we woke up at 10 am (haha not having enough sleep at all)
we literally were just eating, sleeping, raving, and repeating.
we had a free buffet (cuz M got so many point on her Red Card)

got super full!!!

we went to a pool party at Wet Republic to see Dada Life.
Wet republic too was splendid, a pool and a stage surrounded by tables.

so crazy

then we headed to the airport after the party.
then i'm back to real life haha
i've been missing Vegas so much.
it was like a dream very surreal. we just partied and drank all day and didn't give a fuck haha

after i came back I got sick on Tuesday. had diarrhea and a bit of fever.
but i'm better now after a whole a day of sleeping.
i felt so bad cuz i have works to do but couldn't get to them because i was sick.

anyway, it's Wednesday now and i think i'm almost recovered from the sickness.
being pretty productive so far. adjusting to the real life pretty well.

Conclusion,
I want to go back to Vegas so bad!!! haha i just want to party all day and all night!!

last weekend was great.
I spent a lot of time with my friend
we studied together on Saturday.
and on Sunday,
we went to Gas Works Park and enjoyed the sun.
we walked around, had some drinks and went to happy hour at the evening.

for the rest of the weekdays,
I was just working on my research project and studying.

and there're ups and downs.

nothing much to talk about.
i'm feeling depressed now.
i feel like i am a horrible person.

i decided not to focus that much on the readings,
instead i'll try to finish the homework and assignments and projects first.

lol jk the library is closing at 8pm i'm back to my dorm to study

hey guys i've been working in the lab a lot recently.
making a bunch of samples and making some good progress on my project as well.
going to do experiments next week.

and i'm still very behind on my class reading
i'm at the library right now and it's super empty.

it's hard being a senior.

this week was productive
i'm feeling better in general.
had my counseling session this week too, gonna have my next session next month.

sunday

i've been really stressed out recently.
feeling all anxious and depressed and just felt like doing nothing.
i just really have to stop thinking about it and just continue with my life.

classes are fine. i like them. they're not like science classes.
one of them is more like a business thing class (boring as hell)
the other one is clinical trial design pretty interesting but a bit confusing.
the other one is engineering cell biology. kind of like the same thing as two quarters ago.
work load not too bad a lot of reading but i don't think it's worth spending the time reading all of them.
a lot of projects for the classes to do though.

my capstone project is still going way too slow and my PI was not happy about it.
i can feel this tension.
anyway i have to get my shit together.

as for my grades form last quarter.
i got 3.8 for all my classes.
i love my grades but it's only 10 credit so i'm not in the Dean's list.
fuck me....

hmmm what else,
oh got really drunk on Friday night. my friends and i had such a great time on cap hill
but the taxi ride home was not fun.
i was like i have to puke right after i got out form the car.
i didn't puke but i felt awful.
no hang over on saturday though.

ummmm. yeh. my life is in a bit of turmoil right now. so i really need to get my shit together.
yeh....

April Fools - the Interent

so of course i've been on the internet for the whole day searching for fun things that google makes us this year
and i would say this year google made the best April Fools prank.
it's the Pokemon google map hunt.

i actually cheated by looking over the list of all the locations of Pokemon but it was fun!
I found all 150 of them but there's a rumor that Mew is the 151st Pokemon but I was never able to find it. oh well don't want to waste so much time on that.

google never disappoints me :D

for Tumblr, they have Tumblr Pro and they gave me a cute little hat. *tip* *m' cute little meaningless hat*

oh and our school website pulled some pranks off too

we have this webcam thing of the Red Square and they changed it into these:

My favorite day of the year has come!! April Fools :D - 2nd prank

and if you remember, I did this two years ago.
the toilet paper prank!!

cut hollow circles from white paper and glue them to the ends of empty toilet paper thing (i made little rectangles for gluing so the final product wouldn't fall apart)

assembly!

and cut a white paper rectangle and roll it around the assembly glue it together

then roll the real toilet paper around the assembly so it looks like a real one

and there it goes! beautiful!!

and of course i need to put some real toilet paper in the bathroom (not trying to traumatize anyone) with a little April Fools note

My favorite day of the year has come!! April Fools :D - 1st prank

so i started my April Fools by preparing chocolate coated sweet.... ONIONs!!!

:D (I had this planned out like last April Fools haha)

make sure all the onions are peeled and cleaned

melt the chocolate with water under the bowl

coat onion with melted chocolate

put some colorful sprinkles on!

put my babes on the wax paper on a pan and freeze for at least 20 min they're beautiful

last touch with some chocolate frosting and more sprinkles

ready to serve "sweet surprise"

i'm giving them to my roommates and friends.

one of them have already tried it and he said he actually likes it haha

i'm going to post the reaction pictures when they have all tried it!! :D
