the six day weekend is about to end
went work out today and now i'm very tired
feel extremely lethargic
gotta get ready for the week, i have two midterm :O math and physics :(

i'm so tired yesterday, i even ordered a "hot ice tea"
got back to my room and slept for almost 11 hours after a very tiring day of shopping and touring

i said,
"thank you", "yeh"
and "ok sure" today and that's all...

thanksgiving

i have been going to bed late and waking up very late these days...
it's the third day of the six-days holiday
my dorm is so empty and quiet, everyone well most of them had already gone home
dorm dining and terry front desk aren't opened til tmr :(
can't get my things ordered on amazon few days ago

oh i forgot to tell u that i ordered 2 things from amazon
1. gyroscope- lol cuz i'm taking angular momentum now in physics and i really wanna play with it
2. drinking bird- go google it if u have no idea what i'm talking about, it's really cool!!
i'll show them to you when i get them from the front desk few days later.

so i went to Chinatown with Frances yesterday to shop for foods
i found some food i like and decided to buy them and put them in my food storage :D
and had dinner at Frances's apartment
we had noodles and rice
oh and Grace, my high school friend, came all the way from CA to Seattle
and i'm staying at the apartment tonight and we're going shopping tomorrow morning like 5 am @@

and it's not that cold outside now, snows are melting but roads still slippery
oh and the temperature during wednesday midnight broke the low temp record in Seattle
it's like -10 degree celsius
and this is my first time in seattle... lucky me...

so as you have seen my flickr photos are really adding up these days, i still have like over 20 of them to upload :/ very stressful...

i can't believe this

classes got cancelled for tomorrow!!

so basically i went to class only one day for the whole week!

one snow fall = 2 day-offs + 4 holidays = WOW

finally

i finally got football photos uploaded on flickr :D

overall,
I had so much fun and met so many new people in the snow :)
playing in the snow sure is a great way to get socialized lol
and i took 489 photos hahaha!!

and classes are cancelled for tuesday! that means i dun have to go to school for math midterm! it's postponed to next tuesday! :D

and tmr is the last day of the week cuz thursday is thanksgiving :)
this is the best week ever!!

but the sad thing is IMA is closed so i'll probably go there tmr then :)

oh and the day after the snow is when everything gets chaotic
i actually saw a car flipped over on an incline!

if it's "snowy" on Sunday, then Monday would be out of the scale!

i woke up at 8 am something and i have no idea why i was waking but so early
i checked the weather through my window and I WAS AMAZED!
it's snowing and the roof, the trees are all white :D

i dressed up throwing everything everywhere and grabbed my camera and rushed out of the building!

snap snap snap, 100 photos already!

so i started my extremely snowy Monday....

i spent my 3 hours of leisure morning having breakfast walking around taking pictures...
so later i went to class and it became more and more snowy and windy

chem class was cancelled

inches of snow is still falling from the sky and the wind is getting much stronger!

this is my FIRST SNOW STORM in my life!

for now the wind is blowing up to 10-15m/s
and it's -5 degree celsius and windchill down to -9 degree celsius!!

it's all FROZEN UP literally
the street is so slippery

and i can hear people screaming and laughing outside from my room haha
they're having a lot of fun!

i'll have snow ball fight later with friends so excited!!
and i'll post the pictures asap i promise

yup, it's snowing

so i woke up this noon at 1 by my alarm
"oh man, i'll just sleep for another hour. i set a 2 pm alarm last night anyway"
but as i flip through my iphone home pages
i saw Tiffany's text
"SNOW ><"

i immediately jumped off my bed (that wasn't true of course)
and looked out my window...
NO WAY! it looks like snowing

so i dressed up and grabbed my camera and keys
and ran out of building!!

it's not really snowing though
ice droplets are falling from sky!

and i started my snowy Sunday :)

it was really snowing about an hour ago, but it's not snowing now

this week

it's so busy this week!
and i'm extremely tired! full of works and fun!

on Thursday i went to my first football game :)
thanks tiff!
it was amazing! and Huskies won UCLA :D 24 to 7
i took a lot of photos i'll upload them later this weekend

and um there's a good chance of snow this weekend and early next week!
i'm so excited!! i'll be looking out the window and if it snows i'll run out of my room
of course i won't forget my camera :)

project 1

so i decide to type down 1 sentence per day i heard from strangers!
when i'm walking to class, or walking back to dorm, or just shopping... starting tomorrow :)

so i went to downtown for a very complicating business (verifying your enrollment in school to Taiwanese government is not that easy as you thought @@)
but the good part is i got a chance to see another part of downtown seattle :D

but i didn't bring my camera with me so i took some pic with my iphone

Impressive!

What happens when an airplane passes between you and the moon and thin clouds are rushing through the sky?

Right before I went to lab this night I walked through the Red Square and it is windy real windy!!
I raised my head and saw a huge shadow flew over the sky! It's the shadow of an airplane cast on the clouds! It's like the hugest projector!
Well I would say solar eclipses are much more magnificent but shadow of a plane on the clouds is rare as well!

Anyway, it extremely windy out now and street light flickers
Light in room flickers as well hope we won't get out of power :/

so i watched two movies today
Megamind
and Paranormal Activity 2

Megamind is like the usually animation film, cute! and funny :)

Paranormal activity 2 is a very interesting film! sometimes i got scared when something suddenly popped out! it's just the usually ghosts and possession thing.

oh and btw, i love to listen to C89.5 dance music online radio
so i just pledged $20 :)
to keep them alive! dance music rocks :D

so tmr is Veterans Day and we dun have school tmr :)
and just went out with friends from the same floor for ice-cream!
well actually we went to a newly opened activity room in terry hall
there're air-hocky, table soccer, pool, video games, ceramic making (which kinda surprised me), and a darkroom.
and we went to north campus for ice-cream!
i brought my camera with me but didn't really take photos... like less than 10...
i feel so sorry my camera is so lonely lately....

so how's life? have a great day/night depending on where you live :)

oh oh and i'm planing to get my first haircut in the US tmr!! haha i'm going to a barbershop on the ave

and after the exam i walked back to cafeteria and then got a pizza and a salad
and crap! i got a photography club meeting, so i swallowed my pizza and carried the salad with me all the way back to the campus
and then i went to the room and it's dark and empty....
